My two children are on the autism spectrum and we were impressed with this practice even before we came for our first visit: You have two different downloadable Social Stories on your website, which we used to help prepare our kids so they’d know what to expect.
Every staff person we’ve met has been warm, friendly, professional and calming. They seem to genuinely enjoy working here!
The office is beautiful, immaculate, bright and inviting.
The practice is involved in the community (I learn this on Facebook!) 🙂
Plus, we DO have a point of comparison! We’d gone to another practice in another town for a few years and my kids routinely freaked out. I had to lay in the chair and hold them down like a human seat belt! It was totally unpleasant for everyone! From the very first visit to Cipes, my kids have been calm and cooperative! I was, and am still, floored! I don’t think it’s just that my kids are older and more experienced. The Cipes team has a magic, calming touch!! They are gentle and slow in their approach, taking the time with us that is needed to explain everything, simply and with no surprises. We never ever feel rushed. We DO feel genuinely cared for!

He has special needs and we were very nervous about how this was going to go. She took the time to show him all the equipment and explained what she was going to do in a manner that was perfect. She was extremely patient and super nice and went out of her way to interact with him in a way that he felt safe and was not scared. I also want to thank you for the wonderful social stories that are available on your website. I printed it out prior to the visit and I think it was very helpful to help him mentally prepare for where we were going and what to e xpect.
