Now that you may be vaccinated…updated CDC guidance!
As we are sure you are aware, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated their Interim Public Health Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People. While this change in guidance is a hopeful sign for all of us, as health care professionals we wanted to clarify how this affects your visit at Cipes Pediatric Dentistry.
- The most recent update still requires fully vaccinated health care personnel to wear source control while at work. We all will still be wearing masks at all times, as well as our additional personal protective equipment when treating patients.
- We ask all people entering the office to wear their masks. Because we treat children who are not yet able to be vaccinated and patients who are medically unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine or are considered high risk, we feel this is of upmost importance.
- We will continue to screen patients with temperature checks and screening questions. These are methods of assessment that help us ensure everyone entering our office is free of symptoms and have no known exposure to COVID-19.
- A virtual waiting room will still be available to help maintain social distancing. Please call or text when you arrive and we will meet you at the door when your room is ready.
- We are still practicing social distancing and dividers will remain in place so we can maintain distance greater than 6 feet between families.
We will continue to monitor the latest updates from the CDC, DPH and other regulatory agencies as we help our community stay on top of these issues.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s care. If you have any questions about the safety measures, we have in place please call our office and talk to any of our team member about all we have done to keep everyone safe!
