Drs. Cipes and Chisholm attend the 66th annual American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry meeting
Drs. Cipes and Chisholm attended the 66th annual American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry meeting in Orlando, Florida. They joined over 5,600 participants from around the world to attend both clinical and scientific sessions.
While in Orlando, our doctors attended an exciting course on the “Management of Interproximal Caries.” This course was led by Dr. Gajanan Kulkarni, Dr. Peter Milgrom, Dr. Timothy Wright, and Dr. Sebastian Paris. This course looked at innovated approaches to managing caries before they became a cavity. At CPD we feel it is very important to keep up-to-date with the current literature and recommendations, so we can provide our patients with the highest quality of care. They also attended a lecture by Dr. David Driscoll, a Pediatric Cardiologist and Professor of Pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic; in which he provided an overview of Pediatric Cardiology.
At a ceremony held during the annual College of Diplomates breakfast meeting, Dr. Cipes was inducted as Chairperson of the Foundation of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. The mission of the College of Diplomates of the ABPD is to encourage and promote the pursuit of excellence in pediatric dentistry. It’s Foundation is a charitable trust which funds scientific programs, annual awards, and other functions of the College of Diplomates.
