Dr. Cipes Inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry
Last week Dr. Cipes was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists (ACD). She travelled to the American Dental Association’s (ADA) annual meeting in Houston, TX to receive this prestigious honor. Only 3.5% of dentists nationally are Fellows of the American College of Dentists. The ACD chooses Fellows for “for leadership, model ethics, and service to the profession and to society.”
Over the years Dr. Cipes has continued to give back to the profession. She has taken on roles both locally and nationally, always with the primary goal of ensuring all children have access to the highest quality dental care. Locally she now serves as a Dental Commissioner for the State of Connecticut and has served as Past President of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Nationally, she has served as President of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, President of the College of Diplomates of the ABPD and as Chairperson of the ADA’s Commission on Continuing Education Provider Recognition. She has managed to do all of this while providing exceptional care for our patients!
We couldn’t be prouder of her hard work and dedication to pediatric dentistry!
